Why a life Group?
Here at FaithPoint we understand that a big part of growing in our relationship with God is more than a Sunday morning activity. Rather we strive to allow God into every part of our lives. Through small group community and study we are able to take some much needed steps to a deeper, life-changing faith in Christ. Small groups allow for personal growth as well as communal support in times of strain.

These men meet weekly for fellowship, discussion, gaming, occasional study and a rockin’ good time. Occasional service projects are organized to assist where needed (e.g. moving furniture, helping families move). Recent conversations revolve around how to be virtuous men.

Meets in the homes of members
Current members are two mother/daughter pairs as well as mother’s of adult children, young wives, new mothers and young adults. We explore what Jesus’ vision is for us as women and how to take His teachings to become better people. We also plan social events throughout the year, such seeing a chick flick or have our families join us for a picnic. Our members sponsor church-wide activities such as our women’s retreat and are very welcoming to new members and visitors.

Dennis and Gerry welcome anyone to join this life group in their studio to throw a pot on one of four pottery wheels or to work alongside others hand-building pots and clay objects. The focus of the group is fellowship and occasional study of scriptural references to pottery. The group made crosses, beads and communion sets presented as gifts to newfound friends of a mission team on their recent trip to Haiti.

James Martin writes, “This life-giving, faith-filled and hard-nosed collection reveals why . . . true faith always seeks to understand.”

Meets in the YouVersion Bible App
Our online bible study uses reading plans in the YouVersion Bible app (free for iOS and Android) to encounter scripture everyday and discuss what we find there, how it makes us feel, and what it means for us today. If you’re looking for a way to stay accountable, get into God’s word, and get more out of it contact Ben to get connected to the group on the app.
