Reflecting on John 3:16-21
I am sure many people have heard of this passage. It talks about why our Savior was sent to us in the first place. The Lord says He was sent to save the world and all who simply believe in His power, will receive eternal life. This really resounds with me in times of struggle.
Sometimes in life, we can get busy, sin, and lose our path. Whether it’s skipping church, preoccupying ourselves with silly tasks, or just forgetting what is important, John 3: 16-21 helps us take back our path, and live by the light. By living near the light, we remember what is important and take back our paths. Families become closer, friendships last longer, and people are strengthened.
I think this is what the Lord is trying to tell us. No matter what we do. If we remember to go back to the light, God will always accept us for our flaws and mistakes, and will help us to build our lives up as high as they can go. It’s this mercy and love that helps keep us on track. So today I ask you — How far are you from your light, your path? What can you do to help yourself return to God’s grace?
