[…] FaithPoint has had a rich history of participating with Operation Christmas Child. Throughout the years we have had different leaders championing this mission. This past year there was a void in this ministry area when our previous advocate, Irene, moved. However, God is good and Courtney Ward stepped up into the leadership of this great ministry. Courtney, a relative newcomer to FaithPoint has jumped into the mission areas with both feet. She decorated a trunk for our trunk or treat and fanned the flame of Operation Christmas Child into a contagious fire. We even had one family generously donate the shipping cost of the boxes because of the energy around this mission. For the first time we had a packing party after our Sunday Worship and the congregation packed and fellowshiped together. check out some of the pictures here from an earlier post. […]
