Reflecting on Romans 1:16-25
For whom or what do we worship? This question has perplexed people since time began. We are all aware that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, sacrificed himself on the cross to pay for the sins of all mankind from the beginning of creation until the end of time.
But just how exactly does that knowledge affect our daily lives? Do we live a life that brings honor and glory to God or do we live a life that serves ourselves? Does the power of the flesh within us serve only to please our daily wants and desires or do we live a life that is controlled by the Holy Spirit who dwells within each of us to do good works for all you meet? Are the fruits that you produce for immediate use here on earth or are they fruits which will build up your treasure in heaven?
There are many questions, much to think about and to discuss. Start a conversation today with a friend and share your faith.
Ask yourself today this simple question. Who and what do I worship?
