COVID-19 Response

**Updated April 18, 2020**

FaithPoint,
Thank you for your faithfulness in the face of this season of challenge and innovation. I want to update you on where we are with our operations and ministry throughout this season. In line with the announcement that continues social distancing for Frederick County Public Schools through May 15, Bishop LaTrell Easterling has continued to enforce the closure of Conference churches.
This past throughout March and April transformational ministry has continued at FaithPoint. We have continued to study together, lead confirmation class and gather fr some powerful Easter worship. You all have been caring for one another in a number of ways that ensure we are still a connected community.

FaithPoint prays like it depends on God AND works like it depends on us (translation pray AND wash your hands).  I encourage each of you to continue to pray for your community and those around the world.  Pray for medical professionals, the vulnerable in your community, parents of infants, and your family.  Also, check-in on one another.  Call and connect with one another. Offer help in ways that you can and lighten the load for your neighbor.  At our State of the Church meeting in November, we reaffirmed FaithPoint’s call to equip you to inject kindness and community in our culture of self-centeredness and disconnection in the name of Jesus. I would like to share some of the worship and community connection resources with you.
