Take Your Next Faithful Step

Each one of us has a next step of faith to explore what God is up to in our lives. We want to work with you to take those next steps and have some two-way communication. A great way for that communication to happen is through our Next Step Sheets.
You can always fill out your digital Next Step sheet by clicking this link https://faithpointum.org/nextsteps

Scripture: Matthew 4:18-22

8 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him.

21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

Scripture: Matthew 4:18-22

9 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Where do my gifts go?

Our funds go to supporting staff, faith formation, and loving our neighbor across the street and across the world. If you would like to talk to someone about how to give or budgeting please let us know in your next step sheet.

Masking During Worship

Thanks for your help in keeping worship as accessible as possible by wearing our masks throughout our worship service.

Your Story is important!

Our stories have the power to deepen and make our faith real.
God didn’t stop acting in the world after the Bible was canonized. Sharing our story is important to letting others know how God continues to work.
We would like you to consider how you might share your story of feeling like a misfit and finding a place at the table of Jesus.

Current Series

Jesus has a place for misfits like you and me. Jesus sought out those who marched to their own beat and didn’t fit in.
Over the next few weeks, we will look at how the Kingdom and kingdom of God belongs to, and is blessed by the misfits.

Discipleship Pathway

We have a tool to help you grow your faith in every area of your life. Our pathway explores how we can follow Jesus with our whole selves.
Weather you are taking a first step, or you have been on the journey for a while. Filling out you personal pathway is a great way to grow. You can find print Pathways at the Next Steps Table or visit: faithpointum.org/pathway
