Reflecting on Psalm 96
This Psalm is saying that we need to praise God no matter what. No matter what is going on, we need to take time to remember God.
When we give God gifts, it is like giving God our heart. It isn’t just money and things. It is all about showing God we love him.
When we sing, it is like a gift to God with our voices. When we play with friends, it is like a gift to God with our bodies. And we are being like God’s love to the people we are with. When we make art, it is like we are sharing God’s love with others through that, too.
When everyone does their part, we will be able to share God’s love with everyone all over the world. When we praise God with others, we are being the hands and feet of God like that one song, “If We are the Body” by Casting Crowns.
